The God of Israel spoke.
The Rock of Israel said to me:
“The one who rules righteously,
who rules in the fear of God,
is like the light of morning at sunrise,
like a morning without clouds,
like the gleaming of the sun
on new grass after rain.”

| What a beautiful picture of someone who governs righteously! We need the new hope described here. Let’s pray earnestly and regularly for leaders who will rule in the fear of God: “Lord, raise up leaders who will govern from your wisdom.” Closer to home is the leadership you exercise as a church or community leader, parent, or employer: “Lord, equip me to lead wisely, according to your truth.” |
